Even if it weren't for the toast, I probably still wouldn't be a fan of Melba since I don't really care for names ending in -ba. Alba and Elba are also NMS, but I think they're more usable than Melba. On the other hand, I do tend to like names with "mel" in them. I think Melina and Melinda are quite pretty.
