I did not pick my name, my mother did. So if you want to get into that fight take it up with her. I am more than aware that my name is often that of a stripper or someone else who is trashy. However; that is not who I am. Just because general opinion says something about a name does not mean it is true for every person with that name. I know, have known, or have met plenty of girls with each of the names I have included, and although not all of them have the personality traits their names draw in my head it doesn't stop me from thinking that about the names. And just because I am not a trashy person doesn't stop people from assuming things based upon my name (plenty of my friends like to joke with me about how if I ever enter the adult entertainment business I wouldn't have to change my name). I am sure there are plenty of trashy people named Charlotte, Elizabeth, or Sophia but it doesn't stop me from thinking of those names as classy.
