Nelson is probably the most "revivable" but it also makes me think of the annoying kid on The Simpsons. LOL. Harvey is unattractive imo, and Gerald isn't bad but not a favorite. I personally love Franklin, but think it's too outdated for a fn. It's my dad's name, though, and I'd love to use it someday as a mn for a boy.

I like Harvey only because of the movie with Jimmy Stewart. Invisible, six foot tall rabbits are adorable.

Nelson and Franklin fall into the "too-surnamey-for-me" category. I'm so sick and tired of that trend. I'm going to host a party when it's over.

Is the fact that it's quite popular with Brazilians, considering some of their football players are named Nelson. I think Nelson probably has the best chance of revival, due to the fact that I think most men named Nelson in the USA, tend to be deceased. It's interesting to see names like Eleanor, and Harvey which might be considered dated in the States, are the cat's meow in England.

Nelson and Franklin are very elderly-male-American to me. Once day they'll be ripe for revival, but today they'd still be out of sync.

Harvey is quite a young name where I live - more popular on children than adults - but that's just a regional thing. (I'm in the UK.)

Well, Harvey is quite popular in the UK at the mo so I think it could work. Franklin could too possibly but I'm not so sure about Nelson or Gerald. How about Gerard? I much prefer that name and I think it sounds less old fashioned.

Nelson - Reminds me of the character on The Simpsons. But still, I it's pretty dated and nerdy.
Harvey - You could use it. However, I've always pictured of Harvey as the kind of guy that every girl in school has a crush on. He plays football, is extremely popular, and usually ends up being a big jerk. ;)
Franklin - I like it. A bit dated, but not too bad.
Gerald - Dated. I find this name to be kind of ugly.

Harvey can work. Franklin can always be shortened to Frank, so that works too. Gerald I don't think will ever be popular again, but a Gerald born in 2005 would survive. Nelson I'm a bit mroe concerned with.
