While I appreciate tradition, I still wish they'd be a bit radical (I'm counting on
Harry for this). Even if it's going all the way back to a name like
Blanch (ugh). No mas Elizabeths, please. I'd also like to see
Diana's name used, but it seems at odds with all of the other choices.
This is nowhere
near what it
will be (or should be, lol):
Princess Eleanor Louise Henrietta Georgette
When it comes to honoring, I prefer to feminize the names of fathers and such. In this case,
George VI and
Prince Harry (which may not be appropriate ;-P).
Louise was used by
Edward VII's daughter, but quite frankly I just... like it, and would have used it without there being a predecessor.
Eleanor is my favorite name atm. It's very regal, and always makes me think of
Eleanor of Aquitaine.
Prince Albert John Richard Edward
Albert is my favorite of any name ever used. I went back to the Plantagenets for the first two middles.
Edward is
Edward VIII. ;-)
BTW: You wouldn't happen to frequent The
Royal Forums, would you?
