Nobody would be able to pronounce it, unless they actively thought of David Duchovny, the actor, first, and that would be awful to live with for a little girl. I use to adore him in the X-files as a youngster, and for months I said his name "Dutch-of-nee" until I learned better. I don't think it's attractive enough to be a good girl's name, sorry :(

I think it would be most kick-butt for a boy. You could call him Duke for short. And he would rule the schoolyard with fists of iron.
