If you prn it the Roman way, SKIP-ee-o, then I just can't get behind it at all. Actually, I can't like it even if it's prn SIP-ee-o.

It just looks awkward, and you'd forever have people confused about the spelling and pronunciation! Think of his poor teachers!
Why not go for Scorpius or Scorpio, if you like those letters. Still OTT but more... obvious, maybe.
