[Facts] meaning of my name

I would like to find out what my name means. My mom chose the name RETTA for me in honor of a lady that she admired and respected that was named Loretta. My mother wanted to be discreet about how much she respected the lady so she shortened the name to RETTA. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
