[Opinions] Re: How do you pronounce Megan?
in reply to a message by Lily8
My name is Megan and I (and everyone else) have always said it MAYG-an... or something like that. It's hard to explain. Kind of in between MAYG-an and MAY-gan.
In my accent MEG-an sounds really... I dunno, abrupt. It doesn't really work. My grandma is the only one who says it that way, but she's from England and still has a bit of an accent even though she's lived here for like 40 years or thereabouts.
I'm from Washington state, for the record.
ETA: Oh, and I'd pronounce all those spellings the same.
