Meagan would be either ME-gan or MAY-gan, Meghan would be MEG-an.
I'm from NZ btw. I've known two Megans and both pronounced it the same way I do.

I'm in the southwest US. The way I've heard Megan pronounced has chanced over the year. I went to school with quite a few girls named Megan, all of them pronounced their name- "Meg-an", but then in high school and later on, it seemed like it was trendy to change the pronunciation to "Mee-gan". Now mainly hear Megan pronounced Mee-gan.

MAY-gen .

In Australia its mostly pronounced mee-gan. I prefer the meg-an or may-gan pronounciation though.

In Australia it is more like MEEG-an. And all spellings are pronounced MEEG-an except for occasionally Meghan which sometimes people say as MEG-an but you would be correcting people all the time.
Most Megans I know here still get called Meg and Meg is pronounced MEG not like Mick. Other times they get called MEEGS for short. Not really sure how that would be spelt on paper though. Megan and all its spellings was quite popular in my age groups so I know quite a few.

Anyway, I actually really want to pronounce Megan like MEG-an, especially after spending time in the US and also because my family is Irish so my grandparents always say MEG-an and that is what I always heard when I was little. Plus, it sounds so much prettier than MEEG-an which to me is easily on of the ugliest names around. But in reality, I do live in Australia so I have to accept that here it is said MEEG-an and that is how I must pronounce it too.

I say MEG-an, the traditional way (as in Lady MEG-an Lloyd George, a British Prome Minister's daughter. My Welsh girlfriend says MEG-an too.
However, a work colleague in Australia's kid sister was called this, and they pronounced it MEE-gan, which is how I'd pronounce Meagan. Can't stand that pronunciation.

I pronounce it MEG-in. That's how it's said in the US, although I've heard of people pronouncing it MEEG-in. They might spell it Meegan just to eliminate confusion though.

I'd pronounce all spellings of Megan the same, although I'd be inclined to pronounce Maegan like MAY-gin.

My name is Megan and I (and everyone else) have always said it MAYG-an... or something like that. It's hard to explain. Kind of in between MAYG-an and MAY-gan.

In my accent MEG-an sounds really... I dunno, abrupt. It doesn't really work. My grandma is the only one who says it that way, but she's from England and still has a bit of an accent even though she's lived here for like 40 years or thereabouts.

I'm in Texas and I pronounce it MEG-an. Locally, most people pronounce it MAY-gen (which I consider ugly).

I pronounce Megan as MEG-an or MAY-gen, Meagan as MAY-gen or MEE-gen, and Meghan always as MEG-an. Meghan is the only instance I can think of where I honestly prefer a creative spelling over the most conventional one.

I've always thought MEG-an is the most correct pronunciation, but I'm not sure. It's definitely not the most common one where I live.

That's my name and I pronounce it MEG-an. My name is very rarely pronounced any other way (sometimes May-gan, sometimes Meeg-an) but I guess it just depends on your accent.

I pronounce it MEG-an but with my accent it does sound like MAY-gen which is why I like Maegan for a time. MIG-gen sounds like another waay you might hear it in my area, (North Carolina). MEG-en is definitely correct.

Maegan is the only one I'd pronounce differently, I'd say May-gan. Meagan, I sort of want to say the same way, but probably wouldn't.
