Brooke Priscilla
Brooke Christa

I'm beginning to see Brookes in the media who are in their early 20's so the name is dated somewhat. My dd, Brooke, has only known two in school so it doesn't seem to be overly common. Of your combos, I like Brooke Emmeline best.My dd was named Brooke because I love the image of a brook and the sounds associated with it. It's very peaceful and poetic. Then again, I love most nature names. Would I do it again? I'd probably use it but call her by her fn, Victoria, or use a nick, Toria, Tora, Tori, etc.Brooke for a girl, Brook or Brooks for a boy.

I prefer Brook Christa, I don't know why, it just has a good ring to it.

I love the combo Brooke Elodie. And there was a time when I actually liked Brooke, or even loved it, but I now find that the sound of it is rather awkward (to my ears, anyway). Something like a rough kind of coughing, it doesn't sound like a decent name at all to me, I can find nothing audibly charming about it, although I sometimes like the spelling (but I'm not a fan of Br- names in general; most of them sound cheesy).

I really like Brooke. I don't think it's too 80s dated; on the contrary, I think it's one of the few names that was really popular then that holds over into today. It's simple and retains a lot of sophistication. I don't really know that many Brookes, so I'd say it's not too common. Brooke is my preferred spelling (Brook feels weird).Brooke Cecilia is by far my favorite of your combos. Wonderful flow and just a lovely sound in general. Brooke Emmeline and Brooke Rosaline are 2nd and 3rd respectively.

I think that Brooke for a girl is too surname-trendy, while at the same time being dated.I've known one female Brooke and one male Brook. For a boy, I actually like it, it's refreshing and different.

Brooke is very late 80's/early 90's to me. I had a few classmates who had little sisters named Brooke.I prefer Brooke over Brook. I don't care for any of the combos.
