Ok, the -ine ending is feminine-sounding, but there are some other male names, like Constantine and Augustine, that are also male. It's the anglicization of the Latin -inus. Cymbeline is a male character, full stop. For me, this is like wanting to use Hamlet or Lear on a girl.
