I go to school with two Hispanic girls with very unusual names. They are sisters, and Eusebia (yoo-SAY-bee-ah) is two years older than me, and
Uxia (oo-SHEE-ah) is my age. Eusebia was born on the feast day of Saint Eusebia (
August 13th?) and
Uxia was named after a famous outlaw from her parent's country of Argentina, named
Uxia Rosalinda Sieves y Lucientes, a.k.a. "
Uxia del Muerte".
Uxia can be pron. oo-SHEE-ah or oo-SEE-ah.
I think both their names are intriguing, and very attractive. Thoughts?
