Hmm, didn't know that about Hebrew. The only person I've heard of with the name is Geva Mentor (who plays netball for England), and she pronounces it JEE-va, which is where I got the pronunciation from. So I guess either she pronounces it wrong, or it's a different name from the Hebrew one.
