I dont mind Jordan or Lance.
Now that you got some names out of him why not go the hyphenated/double-barrell route for a 1st name like Noah-Jordan mn, Lance-Noah mn, Noah-Jensen mn, etc.
That way both of you got a 1st name you like and over time one of the names might come to suit him more, or a nickname like NJ might develop.
