[Opinions] Hedwidge WDYT?
One of my great-grandaunts was named Hedwidge, and all my family usually jokes about how awful this name is. My grandmother said when she was little she never knew how to spell it and would write "Hedgewich." My brother also commented that it sounds like "Eggwich." But despite that the name is actually starting to grow on me! I noticed that my aunts particular variation isn't in the BtN database.I'm interested to see what some opinions are on the name, I think it is a good old name but I don't think it could pass the playground test especially here in the US. I think the nickname Edda is relatively acceptable though. Also, what do you think is the best variation?
