Coming from a large Polish community, the name is no more uncommon than its counterpart Olivia. I am sick of the name Olivia quite honestly, and if you live in Chicago where Oliwia is popular among Polish immigrants, and Olivia popular among everyone else, you would find it no more refreshing.
