I love both names, but would be more likely to use Isidora than Isidore, if that makes sense. Girls can just carry those names off better :-)
I prefer the spellings Isadore and Isadora. They look more natural to my eyes. Isadora would be a great alternative to the now-boring Isabella.
Like you, I'm not feeling Izzy at all. Hopefully, people wouldn't use that ... It's not the most attractive of nns!
