[Opinions] Adam
I've fallen in love with the name Adam recently. WDYT? Strong, classic, boring, too common? Go ahead and be brutally honest. Also, any combo ideas?

To be completely honest, I have *very* bad associations with this name. To make a long story short, this Adam fellow in question totally crushed my self-esteem with his skirt-chasing ways. However, a different Adam I knew was a fun-loving guy who shared many of my interests and I was pretty good friends with in high school... sadly, the former association always gets in the way of the good one. =(
As for combo ideas? How about:
Adam Desmond
Adam Drake
Adam Phineas
Adam Quentin
Adam Lysander
Adam Matthias
Adam Ignatius
Adam Silas
Adam Elias
Adam Gideon (a bit Biblical, no?)

I like it, but it's kind of boring
I too have fallen in love with Adam recently. I think of kind of gothic, vampiric-looking teenage guys when I hear that. The thought of the musician Adam Ant helps that notion. And seeing as a lot of my friends tend to fit under the categorization "goth" or even "emo."
Very Masculine!
Very strong, masculine- I love it.

I've also been favoring Adam lately. I think it's quite handsome. As a bonus, I've only known one or two.
Combos off the top of my head:
Adam Alexander
Adam Christopher
Adam Gabriel -- love this combo
Adam Gregory
Adam Joshua
Adam Nicholas
Adam Paul
Adam Rhys -- really like this one
Adam Victor
Adam Vincent
Adam Xavier

I've always liked it. For a time when I was a teenager, I was convinced that I'd name my son Adam some day. It's strong, classic, yes, but not boring and not all that common.
My daughter has a cousin named Adam, he is around 18 months old. We had quite a "baby parade" in my husband's family over the last year or two.
I automatically think Adam and Eve. Not a bad thing. A strong name, very masculine, would not have to worry about little female Adam's, I would not think. It is a little boring to me though.
