What do you think of Shanti for a girl? How do you pronounce it?

I have known one Shanti, as a girl. I believe she now is a physician. Her parents are American but were living in India when she was born. I love this name.

I like it, but I would only use it on a character. I would want to see it on someone else's kid though.
