I like it as a mn, but not as a fn.

Seren is great. Serenity I'm not so keen on.

Is Seren pronounced like the first part of Serenity? I think its kind of pretty! I like Serene better though.

I can't stand Serenity, all it is to me is adult diapers. Yuck.

There is a trashy motel in my hometown called the Serenity Inn, so I can't take it seriously as a name. Crack addicts and prostitutes often hang out there, so...yeah. I would just go with Seren, or Serena.

It's not bad sounding. Serenity is a pretty word. But I'd rather have a classic, so I'd go with Serena.

It's a GP for me. I like Seren by itself, not necessarily as a nn for Serenity.

I used to think it was awful, but my neighbor had a little girl named Serenity, and she totally turned the name around! Her big sister (Destiny - bad sibset, in my opinion) couldn't say Serenity and called her Wreni, and a lot of the time, she goes by Wren or Wreni now.

I dont think its bad, but Im sure some people will think so. There was a little girl in the preschool I work at with the name, and it fit her very well, but she had her moments haha.

I really like the name Serenity. I don't think I would ever use it though. I like Seren but not as a nickname for Serenity.
