Help[Opinions] Shosanna.
Sooo I saw Inglourious Basterds this weekend (LOVED IT) and I am falling in love with the name Shosanna. But I only like it spelled and said like Shosanna, I am not too fond of Shoshannah or Shoshanna or any of those other ones. What do you think? Also, what do you think of the original name, Susanna / Susannah?

Shoshannah is the original form, and I much, much prefer it to Susannah. Shosanna sounds pretty, but I keep misreading it as Shoshanna.

I think Shosanna is pretty when said aloud, but when looking at it I'm bothered that it's not Shoshanna. I think Shoshannah is gorgeous. I like Susannah too-- both are on my PNL.

Shoshannah IS the original name! I think Shosanna is alright. Susanna/Susannah are pretty dull to me, along with Susan.

No worries. This site tends to mess up about which direction names evolve. They almost always say that the Romantic form of a Hebrew name is the original and the original is a "Hebrew variant."

I prefer Susanna to Shosanna, Shosanna seems odd to me. I sort of like Shoshannah.
