Sorry, but I think it's awful. If you really want to use it for a girl go with the traditional spelling

If I were going to use it for a girl, I'd go all the way and spell it Elliott...but I have to say, it sounds worlds better on a boy.

Stick to Elliot.

I don't like this feminized version of Elliot. At all. With the Scrubs character, Elliot is somewhat more acceptable (and imagined) on a girl. The similar Aleit is another option.

Isn't it supposed to be a female form of Elias rather than Elliot, though?

I'm not sure if Elliot is more acceptable on a girl, for me it's not remotely feminine (though I guess some parents think it's "omg!!!so kwool" to use unfeminine surnamey names on girls). I don't care much for Elliette, but it's better on a girl than Elliot.
