[Opinions] could have been!
I only vaguely recall the dog - I don't even know if it was male or female, it died when I was quite young. But I remember chasing after it calling "Sun-ta! Sun-ta!" Poor puppy.My Opa was Dutch, and spoke German too, so Senta is definitely a possibility.

Senta is one of the most popular and typical dog names in Germany (alongside Asta, Rex, Hasso, Bello,....)Wow, that was really off-topic.

LOL, hooray for OTEdit: I just figured out that "Alsatian" means "German shepherd". I learn something new every day on here!yes, it was an Alsatian :)
