What do you think of Maisie as a nickname for Margaret? Full name will be Margaret Joy or Margaret Maeve. I think choosing a name is harder then nine months of pregnancy. Anyone else think that.

My sis suggested Margaret Kathleen. Kathleen being mom's name. I think it's a handful; and with a difficult last name, although short, maybe too much. Maisie Kate would be cute though.

I really don't like Maisie. It's too cutesy for my taste, and it won't age well. I guess I must be the only person on this board who thinks the best nickname for Margaret is Maggie.

Ooh, that's gorgeous. I love Maisie, and I like the ide of having Margaret as a full name to fall back on.Maragret Joy would be lovely, and then she could have the sometimes nn of Maisie Joy. Very sweet.

I hate common names. No more Emma or Sophia or Isabella. Although I do know an adorable Isabella at our church.
