Here are some names of Italian babies and kids I've heard recently:
A friend of a friend had a baby boy named
Matteo Renato. Comboed names aren't as common as they are in English-speaking countries. I think
Renato honours his grandfather. I think it has a nice flow.
Another kid born this summer was named
Andrea, and another friend's cousin had boy/girl twins named
Lorenzo and
Federica.
I also heard of the following "cousinset":
Irene and
Sofia (sisters) and
Lucrezia. I think
Irene and
Sofia make an awesome sibset (peace and wisdom, I wonder if it wasn't deliberate.
Lucrezia seems to be getting more popular, apparently people don't mind
Lucrezia Borgia.
