I think I can persuade my husband to like Penelope if I try hard enough. He likes Penny, but he says he definitely prefers the nickname to the full version.

Oh joy! Another fan of Penelope Jane. That's my favourite Penelope combo too. Like Miranda Jane it's Brit boarding school slightly retro chic. I love it.

I love Penelope, but I have a good feeling at the rate I'm going I won't get to use it. I love Penelope Iris. Penelope Jane is also nice.

Penelope has really been growing on me lately. Especially since I met a little girl named Penelope nn Pippi - it was just so sweet seeing it on a real kid!
I really like the feel of Penelope Jane. Penelope is a lot of name and Jane balances it nicely. My favourite combo for it at the moment is Penelope Harriette.

I like it. And I think it could be an easy compromise if you get to name her Penelope, you know, just for the sake of having a more formal name to fall back on. ;) And then he can just call her Penny anyway. Everybody wins!

Woah. My Penelope combo is Penelope Jane. Crazy. I love the colors and juxtaposition of feel between the names. Together it makes one great combo!

My youngest neice is called Penelope, though the family mainly call her Penny apart from DH who always calls her Miss Penelope, bless

Ah, I love Penelope, nn Nell myself! But Penny is sweet as pie. Penelope is one of those names that I don't think I'd ever use myself, but would love to see it on another.
