Even though I know it's a medieval name, and that it has a good meaning, I feel like using it nowadays wouldn't work. It sounds like a cutesy, contrived name-- even though it's not. I could see it working best as a MN, not even a GP one. I like it best with classic girls' names.

I actually could see it being used IRL... just only as a middle name. If I met a ____ Loveday, I'd just assume it was a family LN being used for an interesting MN.
