Okay, I've always liked the name to a certain extent, but I can't decide on which variation I like the most.
I'm not a fan of the
Zachary variation. I just can't warm up to the spelling. But maybe Zacarie? Do you think Zacarie could work? Is it too trendy looking?
My interest in the name has been very recently rekindled as I've been looking into a particular branch of my family, including my ancestor
Zacharie Cloutier. If you haven't heard of him, perhaps you should Google search, his biography and list of descendants (including
Angelina Jolie,
Celine Dion, Beyonce, ect.) is rather interesting.
I also rather like the name of
Zacharie's wife. However, it's spelling varies from source to source. Either Xainte, Sainte or Satine. His children had rather plain names;
Zacharie,
Jean,
Charles,
Anne and
Louise.
