Hannelore's a very cool name and it has begun to grow on me too...I read a webcomic named Questionable Content (www.questionablecontent.net) and one of the main characters bears this name.
I'm not fond of Hannah or Laura as a nickname...Hannelore's just fine for me. Maybe just Lore.
