I agree with you about Emmett Henry, as it flows better. I think I like Gabriel James just slightly more, with the nickname Gabe. I'm actually starting to rethink Rosalie and Violet for first names, although I love them, because it just seems a little matchy with my name, all being after flowers and all. I wouldn't mind that if you don't (coincidentally, I also love the names Jade and Ruby, which would match quite nicely with your name). Because of that, I'm going to go with Nora Penelope as my pick for a girl.
