I really enjoy
Araminta. It's so fun, whimsical and yet still has some great background. I love that it's a legit name that you never see. It really gets my imagination working.
I think it is usuable, but certain parents would pull it off better than others. It is definitely an intellectual, artsy, rather anti-trendy kind of name. I could see it being used very successfully by a pair of Literature professor parents or an Arthurian magical wizards and unicorns nerdy kind of family. It's definitely not your run of the mill name.
