Help[Opinions] Rhonda
Having carried this name since 1955, I warn all prospective parents against using it. It's a fake, meaningless, insipid 2-syllable curse. If you look at characters in movies or tv shows with this name, they are almost always portrayed as bimbos or flakes of some sort or other. This name is dying, and it should. It's a mistake.

I don't like this name much, either, but i like the related name Rhondelle. I knew a girl named Rhondelle, and she was very nice.

I don't think it's so bad. I had a friend in elementary school named Rhonda that I'm still in touch with a bit. She's 22 now, I think. I wouldn't use it, but I don't think it's a bad name necessarily.
But I think most people tend to be harsher on their own name. I know I can't stand my own name (Megan). So I can sympathize.

Aw, it's not so bad. I know it's meant to be derived from the Rhondda Valley, but that's not the nicest part of Wales, so let's associate it with Ronda in Andalucia instead - much prettier:

It's pretty! I like it and think it should come back into style. I like the way it looks, very strong and elegant at the same time and it sounds nice, too.
