I have a cousin named Wolfgang, his middle name is Dominik. So how about Wolfgang Dominik or Wolfgang Dominic?

I've got nothing against German names, or wolves, but this one just doesn't do it for me. Sounds like Central Casting's idea of a dim Nazi. And Wolfie is terrible!

I like Wolfgang, though I strongly prefer Wolfram.

I love Wolfe, after Wolfe Tone, the Irish patriot. So Wolfgang starts with a bit of a wind at its back with me. The obvious connection to Mozart is as plus as well.

As a name, Wolfgang is full of character and is very handsome. I worry about it being over the top as a name on a real person. Then again, I'd saddle a dd with Niamh or Aoife (in the U.S), so who am I to talk?

Wolfgang is a fantastic name. It's so much fun to say. I'd give it a 10 too for sheer awesomeness, but I'm failing to come up with a perfect combo for it - although Wolfgang Dieter and Wolfgang Elias are pretty nice.

Wolfgang is awesome! I love it, and I love the nn Wolf/Wolfe too. I would give it a 10 too.
