Help[Games] Britt's Variety Congrats Game Sign Up
I've been toying with this idea for a little while and if it doesn't get too complicated I'd like to give it a try. Below is a list of a few different congrats themes. You may choose your favorite and follow that theme throughout the game. Each theme will have different rules each round.
1. Classic Congrats: the basic style. You make a couple and follow rules to name their children.
2. Royal Congrats: you create a fictional country, a royal house, and a royal family. Names in these games are typically longer and there are usually more middle names.
3. Keep-Up-Yourself Congrats: you make a couple, I give you an amount of time passed, and you get to choose number, sexes, and names of children your couple has had in that time period.
4. Favorites Congrats: like the classic congrats, but you name your children based on the favorite I give you (favorite nature name, favorite actress's name, etc.)
Choose a theme with your sign-up. No theme-switching once you've chosen. If it doesn't get too complicated I'd like to do some cross-theme coordination in later rounds, therefore all themes will follow the same timeline. The general rules apply for all themes.
1. If you miss more than three rounds period you will be dropped. You do not have to make up missed younds, but you do nto get the children for the missed round.
2. Make sure you are following the rules for your theme. I'll keep players separated by theme when listing them in each new round.
3. Please bold new additions. This can be done by using < b > name here < /b > without the spaces.
4. Ages are required and must be kept up. I'll make sure you know how much time has passed. You may add birthdays if you like but it isn't necessary.
5. Please write a few sentences about your family with each new round, keeping us updated with how they are doing.
I'll let you vote on the time period the game takes place in. Names must be appropriate to the time period chosen. Make sure your couple has names that can fit with any of the beginning years and are in their late teens/early twenties.
