Raleigh Merry* – I think this is a boy because this is from Maryland, which is a very wealthy state, and since Raleigh is usually bestowed in honor of Sir Walter Raleigh, most people wouldn’t give it to a daughter, especially not in a state like Maryland. Also, Merry, although it sounds like Mary, is often used on guys, and may be short for a name like Meriwether, or may be a family name in its own right.
