[Opinions] Georgiana

I love George. Timeless.
And as far as girl versions, I think Georgiana is the only form I like.
I have a stuffed animal fox named Georgiana.
I think it's gorgeous and underused.
I think I started liking it because of Pride and Prejudice too, but not until the movie. When I read it in the book, it didn't have Mr. Darcy's accent. When I heard it in the film, it was way cooler. haha.

Georgiana is not entirely unattractive, but it's a bit too long and drawn-out for me, and reminds me of languishing wimpy heroines. Georgina is more fun and energetic - makes me think of Swinging Sixties girls with boots and big hair, à la Georgy Girl.
Georgia is okay, but not something I'd use, because my dad loves singing 'Georgia On My Mind' and would drive her insane with it.
George is just the best name ever. I want to call everyone and everything George.

I find the rhythm lead-footed and uninteresting; I far prefer Georgina. Georgia I don't enjoy, mostly because I mostly don't go geographical. George is good, but not as good as Georgina (but my mother had a friend named Frieda whom everybody called George for some reason, so I've always got to think twice about it).
LOVE IT!!!
Pride and Prejudice is definitely my favorite book; I'd actually consider naming a girl Georgiana and a boy Fitzwilliam! If I had more kids they could always have the names of other characters...Lydia, Caroline, Charles...
I don't like the spelling Georgianna (doesn't look as proper or as traditional), and yes, Georgiana is DEFINITELY better than Georgia, and while Georgina IS nice, I can't compare it to the magnificent Georgiana.
George is awesome too.

I think Georgiana is a lovely name and I prefer this spelling to Georgianna. I also think it's a nicer name than Georgia and Georgina. George is also nice, but of all the varieties, Georgiana is my fave.
I didn't care for this name until I saw The Duchess and heard their pronunciation of this name (I'm a pro Georg-ayna too). I don't know, some days I like Goergia better, sometimes I prefer Georgiana. Both are certainly better than Georgina in my opinion, and I don't like the spelling with the double n.
I love the nickname Georgie for both genders!

I like George so much more. Georgiana seems so frilly and stuffy, and not in a good way to me. (Although Georgiana is better than Georgianna). I like Georgiana better than Georgia, and Georgina makes me shudder.
I think Georgiana can work on the right person, but as I've never met one, I'm stuck with feeling she's a brat. Maybe in the right combo it would sound spunky, rather than snotty.

I slightly prefer Georgina, but I also love Georgiana (this spelling only).
I can't get into Georgia...but George has been growing on me lately...
