(I can't do the accents on this computer and it's driving me nuts!)
Maire (
Mary) is very nice. I like it as well as the Scots Gaelic
Mairi.
Sean (
John) has never really appealed to me much.
Aoife (
Eva,
Eva) is a gorgeous name, one that I've considered putting on list of favourites.
Seamus (
James) is handsome, but I prefer the Scottish
Hamish.
Sile (
Sheila) is very, very nice! I even like this spelling better than the traditional
Sheila.
Mairead (
Margaret) is not veyr appealing to my own ears.
Seoirse (
George) is ok, but not something I'd use. I'd be more apt to use the similarly spelled
Saoirse for a girl.
