Better than Gerald! But that doesn't make it a top choice ... I'd prefer to keep it as a mn, to avoid the ghastly Gerry.

To me this name has a kind of friendly, nice and a bit comical vibe to it. But I really can't picture a sexy woman named Geraldine.

I like it, but I like it better with the soft, French G. NN Gerri would be cute as well.

I think it has some clunky charm. I wouldn't use it myself, but it would make me smile to meet a baby Geraldine.

There is a middle-school-aged Geraldine in my neighborhood. I only know because her parents have a soccer sticker with her name and jersey number on their car's rear window. :)
