[Facts] How exactly do you pronounce the name ''Eowyn''?
Please give the correct pronunciation.

It's usually pronounced AY-oh-win, but in the LOTR film it was more like AIRRR-win (but I think there was a lot of American influence in the film, which would explain why it sounded a bit different).
ay-O-win is the most accepted pronunciation. However, the Encyclopedia of Arda (www.glyphweb.com/arda/e/eowyn.html) says it's pronounced EAR-win.
The name, incidentally, is properly spelled with an accent: Éowyn.

If you mean the Eowyn from Lord of the Rings, I always pronounced it AY-oh-win.
Actually there is contraversy over the pronounciation.
The actors in LOR pronounce it a'-o-win; however, the free dictionary suggests the anglo-saxon roots would more properly pronounce it as eh'-ah-win.

It's just pronounced Oh-in or Oh-en, depending on your accent. It has been anglicized to Owen so it's said the same way as that!
Sorry, just ignore that last post from me. I misread the name - thought you typed EOGHAN. Sorry again!
It's okay! I was a bit suprised, though!
