A few years after the birth of Prince Arthur's son Walt, Prince Blaise and his formerly commoner wife Helen welcomed into their household a daughter! The girl, named Cordelia Sylvie, was named such simply because Helen does not like the three-name usage Blaise's family used. Young Delia soon became the favourite of her cousins Jerome and Walt, especially since Jerome began to consider her the sister he had always wanted (his affection for Delia actually made Xavier and Genevieve consider having more children!).

With three grandchildren, and all of his own children happily married - Alexandre and Dulcie married a few months before Delia's birth - King Arsene decided to retire from his position as King, entrusting it instead to his son Arthur. Art was positively surprised by his father's decision, but took the responsibility with a severe understanding of what to expect.

Arsene having retired at the relatively young age of fifty, his son Art took the office at twenty-four, accompanied by the new queen, Ophelia, and their son Walter, who was now Crown Prince. Despite Walt's new title, though, it has been arranged so that if anything were to happen to Art, his father will take the position of regent and advisor to the young boy, while Ophelia will remain Queen Mother.
