It may depend on where you're (or your parents are) from.
There is a Scandinavian name Elida or Ellida (originally Old Norse Ellidhi) which means "swiftly sailing".
Or maybe a form of
Alida

).

Elide (Eh-LEE-deh) is also used in Italy but without the accent or apostrophe, if there's indeed one in your name.
