That it would be awesome to have your name in a folksong! Nothing wrong with workin' on the railroad all the live-long day. And what's wrong with Alice's cat, either?
This reminds me of how my husband thinks it's a bad thing that you can associate Peter with Peter Pan, Peter Rabbit, and Peter and the Wolf. But to me, those are all major positives!

Hear, hear! My son loved Peter and the Wolf, and his little sister was eager to eat pita bread because she associated it with him.

She did indeed, and we enjoyed it so much we couldn't bear to correct her. Big brother used to smile smugly and have seconds!

Yeah, I think a kid (or an adult for that matter) would think that it's cool to have a song about them, or fun characters who share their name, like the Peters you mentioned.
