My first impression is that this would be an awesome name for a female cat, only spelled Calpurrnia. Then again, I recently adopted (actually rescued) a male cat we named
Jasper -- only now I wish we had spelled it Jaspurr. ;-)
Seriously, I want to like Calpurnia but I find it stuffy for some reason. I say that because I have absolutely no personal frame of reference for the name (literary associations don't count). Still, it's quite stuffy to me. Bonus: it has a pleasant sound.
