Are those two statements related: you like Marguerite and you like Peggy as a nn? I'm not sure I see a connection.

Um, Peggy is a nickname for Marguerite, and I like it.

I have never really thought about what Peggy is a nnn for, but I certainly wouldn't have guessed it'd be for Marguerite. How does that work?
