[Opinions] Odetta

I asked my SO what he thought of Odella or Odessa and he said he didn't like them. But then he suggested the name Odetta. I really love Odetta! And it has wonderful, almost endless nickname options, such as Odette, Etta, Oda, Detta, etc. I have always loved the name Etta, but wasn't sure if I would like it as a full fn, but it would be adorable as a nn for Odetta! Also, it is the name of a famous folk singer. We both really love folk music and depression era, and southern old and fashioned names. What do you think of Odetta (and the nn Etta)? :)Also, does it go with our other names?Arlo William

Odella & Odessa are literally the names of my co-workers daughters! She also has 2 sons with "O" names, but I can't remember them just now!
Odetta is nice but I think I like Odette just a smidge more

It's not quite my style, but it is nice enough to use if it's appealing to you. Nice change from the trendy stuff and could fit in w/ your other combos.

Odetta is absolutely adorable! The nn Etta goes along perfectly and fits in quite nicely with the other names

I have the same birthday as Odetta!Not the same year, though. i'm old, but not quite THAT old!I like Odetta and I LOVE the nn Etta!Odetta fits right in with the other names!

It sounds like a perfect choice for you! I definitely enjoy the name, but I prefer Odette.I think Odetta fits particularly well with Arlo and Ramona and relatively well with Clara; however, it clashes with Clover and Holden.
