I know of a Mariposa lily: quite a nice flower but not a human name any more than Heliotrope!And Morana doesn't feature in any mythology I'm familiar with, so I wouldn't give that a thought. It reminds me of the rather odd LDS name "Moroni" which I think was originally some kind of angel or ancient hero but gets used as a given name by enthusiasts. It is uncomfortably close to moron, moronic etc and I can't think that a child with a name like that will thank his parents, unless they live in an overwhelmingly LDS community.
