The person I would want to honour only went by Carol but frankly...I don't really like Carol. Not on its own anyway. I see what you're saying about Ann looking incomplete and while I'd rather use Carolann, I'm not completely opposed to Carolanne/Carolane. I'm on a quest to find different ways of spelling this.
