[Opinions] Charlemae/Charlemay
Pronounced like (SHAR-la-may). Made me think of Charlemagne.
The little girl's name is Charlemae Iona, sometimes called "Charley"NMS but WDYT?

Interesting. It would be a neat way to name a girl after Charlemagne (although if I was going to do so, I'd probably use Charlotte or something.) Do they say Charley like Charlie or like Sharley?

I agree, NMS, but still pretty cool! I prefer it to something like Sharla Mae...

I thought of Charlemagne too. It sounds very southern.

Well, Charlemagne was a guy...
I think it's ok but I'd never use it.

I think it's supposed to be the feminine version of the name, which the parents created.

It's definitely interesting. I don't think I would ever use it, but it's not terrible.
