Help[Opinions] Snowfall
Today I saw an advertisment for something (a company, I guess) called Snowfall. I started to think of what a beautiful word it is and then I thought "I wonder if you could use it as a name?" I don't have any kids and I live in Sweden anyway, but hypothetically, could Snowfall work as a name or does it only sound hippy-yippy-yay?

Snowfall does sound very hippiy-yippy-yay. I'd actually prefer plain old Snow, and think it's far more usable.

Lol, I had a moment just like that for Snow.
Love Snowfall. It has a serenity to it that is very appealing. Yes, it could a little out there for some and there is no telling if the appeal would wear off in time. Worth considering.

It's a pretty thought, but yep, hippy-yippy-yay, for sure. I actually think Avalanche sounds better. I'm repeating it to myself here and it's oh so elegant! If a tad destructive. :p

I think that as a middle name, it is fantastic! BUT I really think it should br for a winter baby only with a great story about how it was snowing the most beuatiful and delicate snowflakes... etc...

Snowfall is a nice word but not a name, imo.

For some reason I can't see it on a human, despite the fact that Snjezana is a common Croatian name.

I love Eirlys because of the snowy imagery, but I don't think I could wrap my brain around Snowfall as anything other than a middle name, and probably only for a winter baby.
Of course, Flurry just came to mind...and it's legit for a boy, though it has nothing to do with snow. It snows in Ireland, right? Hehe!

For a person? Doesn't sound usable to me. For a kitten, sure.

It is an interesting name, just not my cup of tea. If you wanted to use it, there's nothing to say you shouldn't, but I'd use it as a middle name. Calling someone 'Snowfall' just feels a little odd. In addition, what would happen if by some misfortune your kid had really bad dandruff? That's just baiting the bullies.

I like it. I love the idea of snow and wish there was some name that incorporated it that didn't sounds ridiulous. Snow, Snowflake, Snowy, Snowball, Snowman?? All so silly. Snowy is probably the best of the bunch but it still sounds like an old lady's lapdog's name.

I've never thought of Snowfall before and I quite like it. Snowy would be a cute nickname. I don't think I would ever use it but it does have a nice sound...hmm.
