[Opinions] GHEE (like "me"), and I have all my life...(m)

Even before I started speaking French, I pronunced it that way. We have a stuffed ghost we bring out for Halloween, and he's Guy the Ghost. My mother named him so, and because she's always said it the French way, I do, too. What's odd is that she'd be the sort of person to go with the GYE pronunciation--she's never taken French and she's not really a Franglophile (which isn't really a word, but it definitely sounds cool)--but hearing the name pronunced any other way makes us both cringe.
I love Guy, by the way. Awesome name--very cute.

"Phineas. That's an interesting name."
"Yeah. It's Latin for 'kick me'."
